Said binder composition comprises of a mixture of waste rubber and wax and may also include a thermoplastic back-bone polymer and lubricant. In Malaysia, about 500,000 tones of raw rubber are consumed annually in the making of various rubber products generating an export revenue about RM 9.0 billion. Latex products especially rubber gloves, dominated the export earning, contributing of RM 7.0 billion. Waste rubber products resulting from rubber products themselves have to be recycled for environmental purpose or value addition. Therefore this invention to apply the waste rubber products from the glove to be a binder in metal injection moulding process. In accordance with the present invention, though waste rubber binder is waste rubber powder was obtained from rejected gloves or waste gloves by mechanical grinding using crusher to get a polydispersed rubber powder. The waste rubber powder was sieved using seiver to get the particle size in the range of 100-400um. |

Due to its relatively high wavelength, the need for antenna size reduction for mobile platform has become a challenging problem.This project presents the development of HF spiral typed antenna that is for use with our HF reader prototype for handheld applications. Its size was reduced to 65mmx90mm and it was fabricated on a double sided FR4 PCB. The antenna was first designed using a CST Microwave and Design Studio to set the boundary and energy profile and then its behavior was simulated. The value of inductors and capacitors were varied in order to get the correct parameter for return loss, VSWR and impedance matching. By using the Vector Network Analyser (VNA), these values were further returned so that optimum communication reading distance between the tag and the reader can be achieved. With the improved antenna design, the reading and writing distance has been greatly enhanced. |
