The all known hydraulic motors designs have deficiencies in having complex design, low effective ratio torque - weight of motors and most of them have intermediate mechanisms that transfer linear to rotary motion of motor output shaft. There are vane type motors with vanes having linear reciprocation motions during its rotation that is considering as a weakest place of hydraulic motor design. The gear hydraulic motor has low ratio of torque - weight that cannot be useful in some areas of engineering. New rotor type hydraulic motor is capable of converting pressurized fluid energy directly into rotary motion. Theoretical calculated results shows that the new design outperformed (the ratio torque/weight) conventional hydraulic motors above 30 times. This was possible by use the principle of overrunning roller clutch and its incorporation into the motor design. |
