The gear hydraulic motor has low ratio of torque - weight that cannot be useful in some areas of engineering. New rotor type hydraulic motor is capable of converting pressurized fluid energy directly into rotary motion. Theoretical calculated results shows that the new design outperformed (the ratio torque/weight) conventional hydraulic motors above 30 times. This was possible by use the principle of overrunning roller clutch and its incorporation into the motor design.
New vane type hydraulic motor is capable of converting pressurized fluid energy directly into rotary motion of output shaft and can transfer big torque. This was possible by use the principle of overrunning roller or tooth-cam clutches and their incorporation into the motor design. The motor has two sections with four bushed vanes, which connect with output shaft by eight reciprocation clutches. Each section works separately and torque is transferred to the shaft by sections consequently from first section to second section and then from second section to first section without stops of the output shaft.
