This species commonly breeds in artificial and natural containers. It is very difficult to control or eliminate Aedes aegypti mosquitoes because they have adaptations to the environment that make them highly resilient or with ability to rapidly bounce back to initial numbers after disturbances resulting from natural phenomena or human interventions. By considering the multiple mosquito attractors which are visual stimulus, carbon dioxide, heat and humidity, the AB Trap15 was designed to capture and kill Aedes aegypti. AB Trap15 is affordable, portable, cost effective and uses green technology. Since mother earth is constantly being tainted, we just want a greener way in saving lives. |

ID : tm3103912010 Sustainable Technology for Reduction of Ammonia Pollution in the Environment This work reports simple techniques of isolating fulvic acid (FA) and humic acid (HA) from decomposed organic materials and the ability of these organic acids in controlling ammonia loss from urea. FA and HA could be isolated in 7 h instead of 2-7 days. FA reduced ammonia loss by 50% compared to urea alone. It also cause the highest retention of ammonium and nitrate. There was 100% ammonia volatilization control. urea-N use efficiency was 30-40%. |

As an example, for every 100 kg of sago starch in pith, there are 10 kg of wastes and these wastes are likely to be discarded into rivers ans streams because most of the sago factories are built near rivers and streams. This practice may cause water and other related enviromental pollution. To this end, a zero waste management approach was devised to manage wastes of these kinds. |
