Process Tomography Imaging Sensor consists of an array of ultrasonic transducer pairs that were formed in a circular manner
and attached on the process column for visualizing the two-phase flow distributions. The size of the imaging sensor varies and
can be applied on small to huge industrial column. Some signal processing methods have been used to acquire the signal
information. For reconstructing the cross-section images, an image reconstruction algorithm namely the Linear Back
Projection Algorithm has proven to provide useful information of the internal characteristics of process column.
